Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster...
Your child’s raw scores in the three tests are as follows:
English Score 23/50
Mathematics Score 23/40
Verbal Reasoning Score 45/80
These three results are adjusted to take account of any variations in the difficulty of different papers each year and combined to produce your child's overall, standardised, weighted score of: 307.772
Well, DS passed, so I'm very happy about that, but it's his lowest ever VR mark.... just hope its good enough for a Southend GS (in catchment)

Re: Scores on the doors for 2013 entry
This year is a little different due to the enlarged catchment. However, as long as you have a score of 303, then I would make an application. Last year SHSG took 303 both in and out of catchment. Good luck.
Strange - they didn't fill their places last year, so as far as I knew they could have taken as low as 303. Manana's post means that there weren't any candidates below 311 who wanted the school!

A score above 335 should be ok I think for out of catchmentjellymum wrote:Still waiting for our results can I ask a really dumb question. How do you know what is a good score, will the email tell me if its worth appyling for the school. We were thinking of southend for girls but are out of Catchment, how will you know if you have made the grade.
