Oops-sorry it's a DS. We're in Southend catchment and hope for SHSB.

We're all in shock!

So pleased for your DS. Still waiting :(

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster...

Your child’s raw scores in the three tests are as follows:
English Score 23/50
Mathematics Score 23/40
Verbal Reasoning Score 45/80
These three results are adjusted to take account of any variations in the difficulty of different papers each year and combined to produce your child's overall, standardised, weighted score of: 307.772

Well, DS passed, so I'm very happy about that, but it's his lowest ever VR mark.... just hope its good enough for a Southend GS (in catchment)

This year is a little different due to the enlarged catchment. However, as long as you have a score of 303, then I would make an application. Last year SHSG took 303 both in and out of catchment. Good luck.

Strange - they didn't fill their places last year, so as far as I knew they could have taken as low as 303. Manana's post means that there weren't any candidates below 311 who wanted the school!

A score above 335 should be ok I think for out of catchment
