I don't understand...
Am I being thick? I just don't understand what this weighted score is with the two numbers? Can anyone explain?

Re: I don't understand...
A bit more info on your area might help us understand your question - do you mean standardised score? some areas do more than 2 exams
Re: I don't understand...
Sorry its Southend, and its a standardised, weighted score - although this may as well be Japanese! I have a guidance sheet but it doesn't help.

I'll move the thread to Essex - someone will enlighten you there (I hope )

Thanks I'm actually wondering if I'm overcomplicating things lol

Your standardised weighted score is the only one that matters - the raw scores are interesting but not helpful.
You should only have one number - but to three decimal places.
If you are prepared to post it along with the schools you are interested in we may be able to help.

Yeah it was me being stoopid lol didn't occur to me that it was a simple as a decimal point lol
What I want to know how is this.. is it worth applying to SHSG when her score is not quite good enough? Will this jeopardise her place at our catchment school?

No it definitely won't.Will this jeopardise her place at our catchment school?
These pages on the forum may help to explain:

http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/school ... nce-system
However, I don't think Southend schools will ever go below 303. If for any reason you plan to appeal then I think you would need to apply for the school even if she hasn't made the cut off.
