Was 337 offered OOC for Westcliff boys? I can see that 336 wasn't.

I think 337 implied cut off is for the girls' school.

Piemom is right it is for the girls school, cut off seems high this year for them than the boys.

My ds is ooc and was offered WHSB with 336.708

The enlarged catchment for the Southend schools will have made a difference. They only rarely filled all the places. SHSB has filled all of theirs several times, but the others used to take a lot of OOC. All of the Rayleigh children will have taken the IC places.

I was under the impression that the move to a geographical catchment area based on residence rather than primary school attended hadn't made much difference to the Southend schools. We were told in October that 170 boys had reached the pass mark and that meant that there were 70 in catchment places in SHSB and WHSB released for out of catchment boys. My son certainly benefited from the change.
