Not sure which the technical school is, but if you mean King John in Benfleet, their uniform is black with a white shirt / blouse, and it's not very easy to get to from Billericay by public transport. St Hilda's (indie) in Westcliff is brown blazer but plaid skirt.

I can't think of any state secondary schools locally which wear brown and it is a very long way to Bishops Stortford for the Herts and Essex...

It does look like it, I wonder if so many from Billericay would travel there as the Brentwood Ursuline is so much closer. Thank you.

Just looked via Google Maps - only about 45mins from Billericay station so a viable option if you are desperate for a girls-only RC school and can't face those stripes :lol:

Don't think I actually want another RC otherwise might go for St Bernard's, we would qualify as dd is catholic :)

Not sure about the brown uniform,
but I got confused earlier in the year with a girl wearing a purple kilt (very very like the ChCHS purple kilt), but turned out to be from a new school just opened in Brentwood "Becket Keys".
