 Post subject: CSSE Maths Paper

Hi, this is my first time posting here.

One of our children is just coming to the point where we have to decide on whether he should sit the 11+ or not.
I'd say he's the upper end of average, and it could go either way.

Looking at discussions on here, it seems that the CSSE English and VR papers cause the most stress. Is the maths paper not too fierce? Or is it just that most Grammar-suited puplis find the maths paper a walk in the park?

I have a feeling that maths might be our bug bear.

Welcome to the forum.

The maths is tough too! 8/37 for one child who is doing very well in grammar! It has been easier for the last few years.
