Hi,
Does anyone know any sites, links, books specifically for type of question where we have to add a same word in front of 4 different word to make a compound work.
e.g. Man,Fall,flake...answer;SNOW.
My son really gets stuck in these types.
And VR needs to be quick to be able to finish the paper.
I am a bit concerned about it.
can anyone suggest any ideas.

Hi pg19

The CSSE VR test is all multople choiuce questions. They use GL assessment for the VR test and you can buy practice papers from GL. GL has also produced a how to pass VR book, which takes you through all the different VR type questions.

Hope that helps :D

In answer to your first post, I took all the examples from the Bond books and put them together in one document (and then lost it  ). I also found some in those puzzle books you find in the magazine section, but not many.

I took the same approach for any type that DD struggled with. I trawled through every resource I had/could find and bundled up into worksheets to focus on something in particular. If she had spent as much time on 11+ as I had I wouldn't have fretted for so long between 1st Oct and 1st March :D

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think this type of question is required for the Essex exam.

You're not wrong. Standard GL assessment multiple choice is all that is required for CSSE.
