Without actually going and digging out a CSSE paper, I am pretty certain that the only angle-calculating I have seen has been of the working one out given size of other angles, so to speak. Certainly neither DS1 (2008 entry) or DD (2012 entry) had to take a protractor with them to the exam.

A protractor was not on the list of equipment needed for the exam, in the information that CSSE provided. In the past, a candidate has been required to use their knowledge to work out angles etc.

All that they are required to bring, is a pencil, pen, eraser and ruler. They will not be allowed to use coloured pens, pencils or highlighters in the test, as confirmed to me an in email from CSSE :D

I wonder what we will get for CCHS then as they are providing everything - the children just have to be there :D
