11 Plus Exams Forum

Does anyone know if boys need a lab coat at SHSB? It is not on the uniform list but the outfitters added one to our pile! I don't want to label it if it's not necessary.

DS1 has just completed 5 years there and we were never asked to supply one - it definitely wasn't on the list back in 2008. I have to say that I am slightly surprised that no item of uniform (or DS1 himself for that matter) ever came home with acid burns etc, but then neither his craft apron nor his shirt ever got dirty, either.
