Help with spelling and grammar correct in 11+

My ds is doing very well with his 11+ and only really struggling on picking up spelling mistakes in sentances and correcting grammar erorrs. He knows how to spelling words, but cannot spot errors in text 
Has anyone please got any suggestions on how to improve this or which Bond English books would focus on this - lots online, but not sure which is best.
