Hi
My daughter is now in year 8 and loves it. The school is a specialist science and language school. My daughter does French and German, and did Chinese for one lesson a week in year 7 and now continues with French and German and takes Latin instead of the Chinese. They take chemistry, physics and biology. I believe at year 10 they have to choose at least one science and one language for GCSE.
It is an excellent school which gets very good results at GCSE and A level (among the top in the country.) The staff are very quick to react if there is a problem and I and my daughter are very happy that she gained a place there.
If I can help any further, please say but I do think you need to visit the school first as you just know when a school feels right. We loved it from the moment we looked round.

My daughter is in year 7 and is very happy there. They have been excellent in settling the girls in, and my daughter has made lots of friends.
