Are CSSE school buses to whsb and shsb reliable?

Post by Good3boys »

Hi all, I am considering the bus from hockley to whsb/shsb and wondered if reliable, as I see lots of kids at the train station in the morning at Hockley?

Anyone with ds' that can advise?

Any help or guidance appreciated - personal messages fine too.

Thanks

My lad is at SHSB. We were told at the open evening in the summer by the SHSB transport expert that the train is more reliable than the service bus which can get stuck in traffic. 8 minutes to Prittlewell then a 15/20 minute walk. Our son is indoors before 4.30 with a ten minute walk from Hockley station. The 7.41 seems to be the one to catch in the morning. You can get term time only or annual scholars season tickets from Greater Anglia at a 10% discount to the normal child fare. There is a direct bus to WHSB but I don't know about its reliability as our son opted for SHSB.
