Likely cut off for CRGS 2014

Not meaning to throw the spanner in the works but DS says there has been some discussion about a boy who got in this year (current Yr 7) following an appeal. He thinks his score was 337 or 339 def one of the two. I thought there were no successful appeals this year? I could be completely wrong...

Would appeal results be made public?
Either score is feasible as 339 wouldn't have been allocated on the day so his parents could have lodged an appeal and then he be given a place off the waiting list where as 337 would have gone to and by the sounds of it been granted at appeal?

Does anyone know why CRGS website says number intended to admit in Yr 7 in Sep 2014 is TBA? Are they going to increase the number from 96?

Interesting - can they make the change so late on?
I thought that if they want to change admissions arrangements they need to go through the consultation procedure the spring before - so if 2014 numbers were going to change then they would have been announced by now?

I just phoned CRGS. I was told they are still going with 96 for 2014 entry but are looking to go to 4 tutor groups in the future ! Yippeee for those with DS2's and 3's.. !!!

Interesting - when this rumour swirled last year - I called and they said they didn't have the physical space.
Wonder what is changing??

I like the sound of this rumour , DS2 has the entirety of primary school to get through first but hey I can dream!!!
