I think there might be quite a few of us in the waiting list position... 
My friend confirmed with Essex LEA that we will all go on the waiting list automatically if we don't get offered our first choice and that it would be a week or so before it would be worth phoning to find out where you are on the list.
Not long to go now, how to stay sane until tomorrow night??

Last year I had to wait two weeks for colchester girls'. If you do go on the waiting list it is a very stressful time. My daughter didn't finally get offered a space till May!!! It's all in the past now and she is really happy there. The last girl in,was offered a place September!!! Last year there was a lot of movement in west cliff and Southend,about 20 ish places on the waiting list. Chelmsford and colchester less with between 6-10 places.
