I think the OP means the event for the parents of girls joining year 7 in September - at least, that's what I'm going in to help with on Wednesday evening as a PA person.

'Serving Pimms, juice and nibble in the foyer, with second hand uniform being sold in the meeting room', the request for help said :)

Although DD is at the school, she only joined at the very end of year 7, so I have no personal experience of being a proper 'new parent', I'm afraid, but if it's like other new parents' evenings we've been to as parents, there will be a talk in the hall and various bits of info to take away, presumably also a chance to ask questions.

SHSB, where DS2 will be going in September, asked for any 'burning questions' to be sent in in advance on one of the forms we had to send back a couple of months ago, so that the HT / Deputy could address them on the night.

Dd has an annual music concert at cliffs pavilion sand night so slightly gutted I will miss seeing her perform :-( so wondering if anyone knew from previous years what sort of time it all finished ? Hi Godsgrace,

I'm in RM6 and my daughter will be starting SHSG in September. I have sent you a PM.
