Are answer sheets separate in 11+ and CEM

Post by pushymother »

This is a call out to young ladies starting year 7 in September :D

Do the children write answers on the test paper or is there a separate answer sheet to fill in for both 11+ and CCHS CEM test.

Many thanks...less than 10 weeks now....

Separate answer sheet.

Please follow the link for CCHS 2015 familiarisation sheet.

The CSSE test - if this is what you mean by the 11+ - doesn't have a separate answer sheet. Have you looked at the familiarisation papers on the website?

OK, got it. I wonder what would happen if DC wrote answer in the question box instead of the answer box? My DD did that a few times when I had her do the CSSE paper.....

I told her not to do that after, but who knows what an only just turned 10 year old will do on the 20th or the 13th she is still 9 years old right now doing this work.

Pressure is getting to me....wondering what I am thinking even attempting this....and again in 4 years with sibling.

Probably in four years time they will change the test again to one that involves a brain scan to count how many brain cells they have to find the geniuses LOL!!!

For the definitive answer, you could check with the CSSE office, but to be honest the 'Answer' column is pretty clearly marked on the Maths paper so I would guess that the markers would expect to find the answers written there. On the English paper, the MC questions say 'tick two of the following answers' or whatever so I suppose they might be more forgiving of a candidate ticking the actual word rather than the little box to the right - but personally I would err on the side of caution and drill your DD in finding the right place to put her answer and then putting it there :)
