My DS is at the borderline of the OOC greenzone for both Westcliff and Southend. I will then be able to gauge how probable will it be to have a place in any one of them without going into waiting list.
Initially I queried this in the score section and reposting it here as this is where I think this query truly belongs

hi
just heard from the school SHSB that they take 125 within catchment ( depending on how many passed though) and only 25 from outside catchment .. so i wonder how much confident could we be if DC scored 345 (OC)
Anyone from previous experience ?
Thanks in advance

Have you checked the csse guidance sheet?
It indicates that you should be OK.

My DS got 44/60; 51/60; Weighted Score: 354.690.
Can anyone tell me whether he got a chance in CRGS please?
Thanks

Yes, according to the guidance sheet he should have an excellent chance at CRGS.

Again from the guidance sheet, you should be safe.
Last year the score needed was higher than previously and he still would have been offered.
As they are taking an extra form this year that should pretty much outweigh any further hike in scores.
Obviously with the change in papers there is more uncertainty again.
I think I'd be quietly confident

is 344.7 any good for CRGS ? .. Even though we are quite dubious about moving to Colchester due to the huge impact on commute ... does anyone know about anyone who moved to colchester but have to commute to london everyday ?
