My son scored 332.9. We are out of catchment for West-cliff boys. Any chance for him?

I don't think the historical result guidance sheet will make much sense this year. The entire intake will depend on the number of scores above 350. What do you all think?

Why would that be the case??

I see a few posts about last years results, can anyone explain this, was the scores high last year and have so disfigured this years results.

I'm so very glad I applied online so could check the results online as my postie hasn't been yet. I would have been frantic by now lol

It looks like the percentage needed to get a pass mark of 303 was quite high this year-over 60%? I had it in my head that it was usually about 55%.

Or did I make that up?

Yes we were just saying that the normal aim for 55% as in catchment score wouldn't have been enough. Someone posted a score with marks of 30/60 for each paper and the standardised mark was around 274.

My DD got 57.5% but not enough this year. Really gutted

Not sure its the right thread . can Anyone please shed some light . DS got 344.799.Green zone for o/c for Southend and westcliff boys is 340.

Nothing is secure until offer day but it is very unlikely that your DS won't get offered a place.
