Thanks Toadmum, hoped you would be about to answer! Have contacted company already, their factory cannot embroider apostrophes.. (shame, cos Danielle's can). But we often encounter systems and companies that cannot cope with this innocent little piece of punctuation, so just need to live with it!

It seems odd that the apostrophe can't be programmed into their machine, especially as you say Danielle's have no problem with it.

If your DD finds it too annoying, as you are already registered with Danielle's, if you can find a piece of matching material you could ask them to embroider her name onto it to provide the base for a couple of patches to apply over the original. We did this with DD's tracksuit because I couldn't face trying to unpick the original owner's name. I found a pair of navy blue shorts in a charity shop which were a good match, and no-one has ever commented on the fact that the font size is a bit bigger than usual.
