Re: CCHS vs WHSG - help / advice pls
My daughter is in year 8 at CCHS. We were in the same situation as you trying to decide between the two schools. In the end we chose the school that was closest. My dd is exceptionally happy at CCHS and I am glad we made the choice. I am sure she would have been just as happy at WHSG but the fact that CCHS is closer to us and on the train line has made it very convenient for her getting to and from school.
My daughter has never struggled with the amount of homework. It wasn't a lot in year 7 but is definitely more in year 8. However she quite likes homework so just gets on and does it.
Hope that helps to answer your question.

Really appreciate your replies - feeling relieved. Just want DD to keep dancing, tennis, balanced life etc It's defo true that the shorter commute would also keep life easier.
