Thank you to all those who have posted scores. Do post waiting list positions etc. when they are released. It really does help everyone to see where the cut-offs are (and also identify any admission mistakes).

Do keep posting scores, especially borderline ones (pm me if you would rather do this anonymously). I will try to update regularly.

Thanks Blitz

Shadow has confirmed that Essex LEA made an admin error in allocating places. Her DD has now been given a place at CCHS. This has released a place at WHSG. A CRGS place has been declined too.

Fingers crossed for all those with borderline scores.

Believe there has been major issues this year with admin which may have messed up the allocation of seats.

After Redbridge and HBS confirming to me that my DD have been allocated a place at HBS, We have today received a post from Westcliff for girls confirming the allocation and inviting my DD to join the induction day.

Cannot imagine how this is possible, unless Essex LEA have messsed up big time. We were hoping for CCHS O/C as our first preference.

There would be a bit of a mess if Essex CC had got involved in the allocation of a place at a school in the Borough of Southend on Sea to a resident of the London Borough of Redbridge  . I would ask Redbridge to check that they hadn't accidentally told both Barnet and SBC that they had allocated your DD a place in one of their schools. If they didn't tell Southend admissions that they had allocated you a place at WHSG, possibly WHSG just didn't take you off the list of applicants, or Southend mistakenly told them that you had been allocated a place there.

Thanks ToadMum.

I have sent an email to Redbridge admissions, who have replied back to advise that they will inform Essex county council and notify them about my confirmed place at HBS and the letter I have received from Westcliff.

There seem to be very few (2 to be precise) out of catchment scores posted for CCHS, anyone know of anymore, just trying to work out if DD has any chance off the waiting list with a score of 113.20.
Congratulations to everyone who got their preferred choices & many thanks to Blitz for collating the scores, it really is an amazing help.
