You're probably not talking about the one between Brockley and Ladywell in south east London, either, are you?Minesatea wrote:Agreed this is the route I was talking about too, DD has friends that walk that way in good weather. I would not recommend it to the OP for a new year 7 tho', she would be better off on a bus.
2 different Hilly fields causing confusion I think!

Sorry for any confusion. It was the response to a previous post about safety on Hilly Fields, I googled and found the one in Enfield was a lot less safe than the one in Lexden, Colchester (which incidentally I live ten minutes from and use a lot). What is the one in south east London like Toadmum?

A big grassy hill. Or hilly field, if you prefer :Colcmum wrote:Sorry for any confusion. (Many moons ago, I used to share a flat on Brockley Road, very close to there).

Used to live in Brockley too!
As far as Colchester Hilly Fields is concerned its a question of common sense in when, who with and keep moving along well worn paths.
I wouldn't have let my DD use it in year 7 but it depends on the individual - not sure mine was 'wordly' enough to recognise potential issues.
