Good Luck to all of you who have children sitting the exams this week. It seems like a distant memory now, but I do feel for you and the stress you are under! :)

Thanks for the good luck wishes. This is my second year in a row! It's my son's turn. I shall be glad when it's all over.

I can't believe how quiet the Essex board is this year! :?

Oh dear, my ds trooped out at 7.15 this morning with his dad... I'm sure it wasn't this scary in my day when you just rocked up to primary school and did it along with the rest of your class.

Dh has rung to say he's registered and has gone in. I'm so nervous for him! Luckily he didn't seem as worried as his dad and me!

And yes, why IS this board so quiet??

Yes, all over! Haven't really got any feedback yet. He's happily watching Top Gear! I do know he completed all the papers, so that's a good start!

Hopefully we will have two children each in Chelmsford next year. Otherwise Westcliff is not so bad.

I am already preparing myself for the worst! I was yet again amazed at the high number of children all competing for those precious few places.

Fingers crossed - only 3 months to wait.

feedback from Chelmsford Exam

Post by urban_i »

Got 2 worried parents here.. :(

DD's response from leaving the exam was .." whats all the fuss about"

She found maths very easy, verbal was ok (no problem questions)
and english ..apart from 2 words ..she said was ok'ish but was the hardest of the 3 papers.

Does this mean the pass rate will be very high?

It would be my guess, a friend said that her son found the English paper hard, but at least you could guess as the questions were all true/false. So 50/50 chance!
