I am sure that info will help a lot of people and it sounds like she did very well.

My eldest son (now at Grammar school) did not finish a paper either.
I don't think not finishing matters if they do well on the rest of the questions.

Congratulations

I have been following this forum hourly and as I have ticked for SHS, Ribson and DmR, I thought i would just nip hom (15 miles) from work at lunchtime to see if I too have a letter from Ribston. Road closed due to accident so have returned none the wiser. I have rung my neighbour who has key and she has gone in and found a ribston hall letter, Oh my god!!!! What do I do a) get her to open it b) wait to I get home with daughter in tow!!!

Here we go!

Ribston Hall results:

1st paper - 121
2nd paper - 126
Total - 247

Be interesting to see how well she fares on the Pates one

Oh what a dilemma!

I think it would depend on how friendly I was with my neighbour...if they are a very good friend then I would say for her to open it...

Her girls also sat the SHS test but she only put that school so hence she has not got her letter yet. Further complication is that she has twin girls and my daughter all want to go to SHS together

these sound excellent scores for all your girls, you must be SO relieved. Bodes very well for the rest of The Envelopes, surely. Dare I ask if you know what sort of scores they were getting in practice towards the end???
Congrats again all round.

Tiggymum...Ahh - perhaps better waiting...or else a sudden sickness development could mean you having to go home early?

I fear I am coming down with flu!!!! I have asked my neighbour to take the envelope back home with her so that my daughter does not grab it when we come home later - I need to prepare the ground beforehand
