I'm in the same boat as you - one at Tommies, one hoping to get in later this year. Fingers crossed for us both!

hi glos -mum, thanks for the call the other night! you're not pushy, you care.

You care about him having the education he needs and that will suit him. Take absolutely no notice of people who make unwelcome comments. I have had all the same comments and I care not! Both my children(as you know!) have had a very happy school life at Pates, it suited my son who has just left, and my daughter loves everything about it.

Have faith in your decisions and DON'T listen to other people!

**** 'em, GM!
Only people like us who've been through it really understand.
Dare I say it, it's worse, emotionally, second time - you might as well be warned - since you can't bear for them (if as bright etc etc) not to do well like the older one did. A ghastly minefield. Good Luck!!!

If you really want tot know what a pushy parent is, then readthe 'Chinese Parenting' thread.

By definition, anyone using this site could be described as pushy, as we have an interest in our child's education.

Glos Mum - is the 8th October a confirmed date for this year's test?
