Where do I buy the Crypt unifrom? If I need to go to the school to try on the clothes is there anyone out there with a new entrant that would be willing to meet up so that it's not a solo activity?

Congratulations on your DS gaining a place at Crypt, and welcome to the forum.
My son is in year 9.
The uniform shop will open for all year 7's on a Sunday in July-you will be sent details.
You will be able to buy the blazer, rugby kit,PE kit and tie on this day. There will be nice lady there too who will embroider your DS name on the PE and rugby kit(obviously for a fee!).She takes the kit away with her and then will contact you when it is ready.
Trousers, shirts etc are all available from the usual shops-they don't need to be from a specific one.

Please ask if you have any more queries,

GM

I would add that the volunteers who assist with the fitting are very helpful and have lots of advice to ensure you get the correct sizes with plenty of growing room. They have samples for your son to try on for size.

I would also suggest getting two ties!

Hi Slimbridge!
My sons got a place at Crypt too :D
Happy to meet you there on whatever Sunday it is...
We know nobody who is going and my son is naturally a bit nervous about 'going-it-alone' too.

Slimbridge, have you seen the post about the science fair next week 6.30-8.30pm at crypt school? Anyone in Y6+ can go - parents too. if I can get a friend to have my 6th old I'll try and take Tom to it - have a proper look round and hopefully meet some people...
