Now the dust has settled does anyone know what the lowest score was that got a place at Tommies or Crypt? I have had a look at the sticky but there weren't that many scores posted and some of you may have heard on the grapevine. Preparing DS for next test (thankfully our last time) and just wondering...

I know a score of 210 got in to STRS on first round if that helps?
Good luck!

Thanks for that. Wow actually that's good although I guess every year is different. I had thought it was necessary to hit the 220-230s. Going for the STR prep sessions in a couple of weeks so I'm hoping they will be useful for the test formats which seem to have been different from the papers I have (one of the tests anyway). Meanwhile still plodding on with the weekly papers..oh joy...

Interesting, my son scored higher than that 213 but didn't get in in the first round or after re-consideration. Fortunately a late place became available as someone moved out. So now they are in.

Thanks all. I'm glad it worked out ok for you Peanuts. None of the boys at our primary passed for STR, they were really bright too.

I asked when we looked round Tommies - down to 214 on allocation day, then 213 after the shuffling round this year, similar to last year. Apparently anyone who got in with lower score will only have got in on appeal.

Mr Daneill said 111 on role for yr 7 come September during the introduction session on Saturday morning so three extra on appeal I make that if that helps anyone.

Mr Kellie said a week or 2 ago 112 on roll for Sept, making 28 a class, rather than the PAN of 27 and meaning 4 successful appeals. Maybe one has dropped out already if you heard 111 on Sat.
