Glos Mum, you couldn't register online last year so we all chewed our nails waiting for the postman. We nearly didn't get our letters and had to run down to the sorting office and demand them! A couple of poor souls had to wait until the Monday when everyone else had their results on the Saturday.

Finding out online would have been so much less stressful

I admit to lurking too. Just not really had a lot to say, but masses to do. We only moved into this Grammar school area this Summer, and feel like it's been catch up all along. You all seem to know so much more than me, hence the lack of posts. But thanks anyway. DS has set his heart on a Grammar now, so I'm most nervous about the possibility of dealing with it not happening. I've taken all the advice about preparing for this, but it still worries me. Do any of you have good ideas for on the day after the test? I'd really like DS to be able to 'let his hair down' and have a blast.

I've just noticed that our "transfer to secondary school" letter states "you will be sent a letter on Monday 17th October advising you of your child's results".

I wonder if this is just to cover themselves in case of post delays???
