Just asked my dd if she was nervous about the postman arriving and her reply was "why would I be he brings post everyday!". Just me with the nerves then

My DS has received his results as follows;-
STRS - 211 (QM 210)
Crypt - 115 (QM 107.5)
Marling - no grading but letter states DS has passed the QM but not in the top 120...

What does this mean for Marling? I thought they issued out scores and rankings so you know where you are on the waiting list?!?!

He really wants to go to Marling as it is local to us and DD wants to go to SHS in 2 yrs....

Anyone any idea what the Marling letter means for us??

(Very please otherwise as he has done well to get to STRS...!)

That's awful... It used to be really helpful...

I would imagine that if DS has got into Tommies he will likely get a place at Marling. The problem arises because lots of people share results with all grammars. So, for example, in the top 120 for Marling there may well be 80 who are also in the top 120 for Pates who will not want the place at Marling. That doesn't really answer the question about why they are not giving out scores this year but hopefully your DS's will all get into respective grammars of choice.

My DD didn't pass, very upset, she got 196 for Ribston, good luck to those still waiting.
