Starting a new thread. We have submitted the application form Online last night.

Our 1st choice is - Pate's.
2nd and 3rd are non Gloucestershire schools.

Cheers!

I didn't realise it was possible to pick 'n' mix schools from outside the county on the CAF, so once again I've learned something from this site.

With both our children, we only put down the school we were interested in (Pate's for DS1, STRS for DS2). As each had both cleared qualified for the respective schools, there didn't seem any point in adding alternatives.

Incidentally, the online application still won't work for us – I had to phone Shire Hall and ask them to email me an electronic version which I completed and emailed back. This is a known problem with their (Capita) system.

We are in South Gloucestershire and the online system allows to put any schools nationally.

At my DS's choice, two local (but out of catchment) comprehensives 1st and 2nd, STRS 3rd and another comprehensive 4th, just in case.
