Hi, we are in the fortunate position of our dd being offered a place at HSFG. Although we have looked around the school and the checked out the data etc, I was just wondering what people's experience of the school is like, especially in terms of extra curricular - sport, music and drama.

Many thanks

My DD is in yr7 and very happy at HSFG. She's involved in music and drama, and loving it. It was definitely the right grammar for her - its the one she felt most at home at when we went on visits. I know others' mileage may vary, but speaking from our own experience (because of course it affects the whole family) we're very pleased with HSFG.

Any specifics, please feel free to PM.

By the way, they have a bid in to build an extensive new block to replace the tired old portacabin classrooms, so the drama facilities (among others) will geta great boost. Can't wait!
