Is somebody planning/already doing car share from Swindon to Marling School/SHS?

There is a very good train service which several children use with more getting on at Kemble. The train leaves Swindon at 7.54 arriving in Stroud at 8.22 The walk to school takes 10 minutes.
There is a train at 16.11 which gets to Swindon at 16.44

Thanks teach. I don't live very near to the swindon train station so trying to explore other options. ATM, the best option "other than train" seems to be catching coaches direct bus service from Cricklade.

TBH, the train journey is so quick compared with the road journey, that I would look at busing into the station and then catching the train. Any road journey is going to be over an hour, and your dc would be with a group of others on the train (this year apparently about 12 to Marling and the same to SHS, with more getting on at Kemble)
