Now the 31st October deadline has passed I wondered if anyone had heard any more about 2014 other than previously discussed ? CEM, announcement before Xmas etc.

No announcements have been made. Expect to hear something in December.

So by a process of reasoning, it must be CEM, because the schools haven't trialled anything else, and if there was no change the would not be a need to say anything in December... Does that make sense to anyone else??

Perfect sense...although they could feel the need to announce 'no change' as they know people are waiting for something.
Unlikely though.

Which regions have CEM so that we can look at their materials?

Thanks :)

Wondering if it might be worth trying to get DS a couple of sessions with an experienced CEM tutor?

That would be pointless, it's tutor-proof don't you know... ;-) (can I remove tongue from cheek now?)
