Just had this letter from Crypt:

Dear Parents

I am delighted to inform you that our bid for a new teaching block has been approved by the Education Funding Agency.

We have received £1.8m to build this new block which will improve our science and maths provision. It will comprise of two science labs, 3 classrooms, additional 6th form private study and much needed office accommodation. It will be built at the end of the school where the two Elliott Buildings - Rooms 39 and 40 - currently stand.
Work will commence in July after tenders have been received and contracts approved. Completion will be in February 2015.

With best wishes

Jonathan Standen

That's more great news, coming after the Denmark road announcement, and Marling's ongoing works.

Went to Tommies open day and their new 6th form block will open in Sept. Ribston have finished their new block and is looking smart too. Nice to see investment in the grammars at last.
