How did ds get on monkeyfeet?

my ds has been very ambivalent about going (he has had an amazing year 6 and doesn't want it to end, and I think was a bit overwhelmed by the whole transport etc,)

Came home, loved it, it all went smoothly, went on the train with a friend, and then a boy from Swindon was chosen to show them round, who then came home on the train with them. Came home talked about a boy in his tutor group who he thinks he will be friends with.

He is so visibly relieved. Now we can relax and enjoy end of term.

I am really tickled by the idea that our boys were together today and that we will all meet next wednesday. I am so used to internet forums being anonymous!

Which tutor group is your ds in Monkeyfeet?

ds is 7C
my ds has very red hair, his friend who came on the train is Kenyan. There are a couple of other swindonites I understand who travel some other way.

Didn't know you were expecting, congratulations, and maybe see you or not wed then!
