Advice re Pates, Tommy Rich's, Crypt please

Thank you all for your replies.

It's been great to see that everyone is so positive about the schools their children go to. I don't think anyone regrets their choice at all, irrespective of the type of child. This is really helpful to me as it means I can confidently pursue this route (subject to the small matter of him actually passing the test of course!!)

As I understand it, the children only have to do one test which covers all the grammar schools, so I suppose it makes sense not to be too focussed on one particular school until the scores come through...

Exactly, and in the meantime you'll absorb more bits and pieces of info. Sometimes, in any case, the answer is self-evident and dependent on results! good luck.

my pleasure, Glos mum - is your DS in the running for Tommy's, too? (joining this forum late for this year but, hopefully, early for next year (!) I'm a bit slow to remember who's who apart from proud mum and Pates!).
