WGSB CI list advice please

Does anyone know if the outer wgbs ci list has any movement at this stage. In the low single numbers for this list on academic. I know there is only 18 places so cannot see it moving much at this stage. Also want to know if anybody has any suggestions on how to prepare my son if there is a last minute change. Anyone any experience of being offered a place in the last few weeks of the summer hols or even the first week of term, does this really happen and has it worked out? Thanks
