Parmiters Stats

Post by babycakes »

Does anyone have any information about how far the OOC applications for Parmiters live from the school?

I am anxious about the results and just trawling for any statistics at all.

By OOC children I mean those living outside of the following postcodes:

WD3 to WD25 inclusive
AL1, AL2, AL3
HP1, HP2, HP3 and HA6

I think that OOC children are only offered a place at Parmiters via the sibling rule or the music/academic test so the distance from the school doesn't come into it.

As long as children score high enough in either of these tests when compared to other children then they'd be offered a place. Note that a maximum of 5% of music and academic test places go OOC children (only about 3 places in total).

I don't know of any statistics that separate OOC children and in catchment children so I dont' think you will be able to get these figures.

Perhaps someone can correct me?

I think Alison has it right. I didn't ask for information about such applicants, because the very small numbers would enable one to identify individuals.
