My DD failed to gain any of her choices this year and therefore gained a NRA.

However we are appealing, to which many of you have responded already to a previous thread. However i have noticed that on the original email which outlines her allocated school ,it also tells me that she was not in a priority area for any of the schools we listed. They were Queens, Bushey Meads and Girls Grammar.

Can anyone let me know what that truly means as we are very much in their local postcode areas.

Thank you!!

The council is referring to the priority areas used in rules 4 and 5 of the oversubscription criteria for community schools and other schools that use the county rules. The schools you listed are voluntary aided or foundation schools that use their own criteria, so this does not apply.
