Hi

I'm hoping that everyone who's got any useful information can contribute. Every year is very different , but it may be useful for next year's parents, if we can summarize how the waiting list works for each school and what number the list has got down to.

Parmiter's

Separate waiting list for each criteria. Distance, Music, Academic.
Operate a system where there are multiple ( normally up to 4) children in each position.
So if 4 children got the same mark in the test, they are at the same position on the waiting list, it's then based upon distance.

As of allocation day ( 1st March) you are given the option of going on the waiting list and given your position on the relevant waiting list(s).

As of first week of July 2010 they where offering from the academic list at Joint 7th.

Music Waiting list has been offered at least Joint 5th position
