WG divides its admissions area into 2 - Inner and Outer. Exactly which postcodes are covered by both are listed on the website under admissions. If you don't live within (or move to) one of those postcodes, there is no point in applying as the school is too oversubscribed to take kids from outside the Outer area.
A certain number of girls get places allocated on distance as the crow flies, rather than exam. The precise distances and numbers of girls vary from year to year, as it depends on numbers of siblings etc - WP's sticky gives last year's data, which may or may not be accurate for this year.
The school itself does not tell the girls whether they have got a place on distance or exam, so your question is unanswerable if you want people to tell you on the basis of their own children how far away places were given on distance - we do not know! If you just want to know the catchment areas, the school website specifies the postcode info as stated above.
