Thanks everyone for replying to this post.

I appreciate your response copella.

That means I need to cover all the books.
I was thinking to drop book 5 because that seems to be a bit more for 11plus.

What do you say ?

The brain goes fuzzy once the exams are over and we did ours a year and a half ago. I think we used book 5 for the mean, mode, etc but the books are not too expensive and have proved useful even now in. Try and look at them in a shop if you can. They are A5 size so don't take up much room and just remember to buy the answer book too.

Thanks copella.

I bought the answer and my child is doing book 2 right now. Will be starting Year 5 in sept. Hopefully I have time to finish the books.

Whoisfk/ Copella,

Are they well presented/ explained? Do they start simply and then get to 11+ standard questions?

fatbananas,

I personally like it because it covers the Maths topics with plenty of exercises.

They give an explanation and examples on how to do ,won't cover each and every specific scenario but can be picked easily.
Also the type of questions is quite good standard not very babyish.

I'm not very sure if they are 11plus specific but definitely covers all the Maths topics for different key stages.

if you pm me your email then I can send u the screen shot of the book page to get an idea the format.

Agree with whoisfk, that the books do not cover every scenario, but they are at the required standard. Each section begins with a basic intro, example and questions and then increasingly difficult sections. We felt the examples were very good and referred back to them when things became a bit confusing.
