You did your DS and yourself a big favour by getting him to sit the mock. It's worse to feel complacent and stubble during the real exam. It is however only a mock, designed to show you where your weak areas are and give you time to work on them. My DS did not pass the Sutton Mock exam but we used this experience to work hard and go over his weak areas. He improved and now is at Latymer. You have time to go over the feedback and get him back on track. We did not use bond ever. It made no sense to us as they don't write the papers. I would go with DAOgroupie's suggestions. She knows your area well. Do lots of 10 min tests by ISP and keep him focused.
