Thanks to this forum so very very much. We decided 18 months ago that we would self tutor and got a wealth of knowledge from here how to proceed and manage it ourselves. DS has come away with a great score. A score that if it wasn't for last years hike in all schools in the south west herts consortium would have got him easily into his first choice ( 250, Parmiters) we are hoping what happened in 2010 when results went down rather than up will happen but in reality we know our second choice of Queens, is almost a certainty and we are very happy with that too.
