Does anyone know where we can find cut-off scores for Queens school for non priority areas?

According to Queens' admission rules, they don't take any academic places from outside their catchment.

It doesn't explicitly state this.
Criteria 5 : The assessment test
Places offered under this criterion will be made in strict order of merit.
Not sure if all the places filled under criteria above this.
Trying to check from school.

Queens does not set aside places for outer catchment applicants like the Grammar schools do. This is why there is no outer catchment cut off mark published.

Read the admissions rule carefully... are you in any of the post codes listed in criterion 3? If 'yes', then the over subscription rules are 4, 5, 6. If 'no' to post codes then criterion 7 applies - doubtful that there have been any allocations recently. In fact if you look at the Moving On directory on Herts.org you can see the historical data which indicates to me that the school has filled its PAN in the last few years (no doubt with long waiting lists too) before it reached 7.

Do you have an acceptable school as an alternative?
Have you received your waiting list position (should arrive in the post)?
Did your DC score highly enough to consider the waiting lists for St C D's or BusheyMeads which have relatively generous provision for non Herts residents?

Thanks for that Henry. I didn't read it the way you have put it above so I can see where people may get confused. Makes it a lot clearer to me now. Thank you :-)

Thank you HenryVIII. This clarifies better. Spoke to school as well.
Yes we have waiting list positions in Parmiters ( 1 ) and DAO ( 13 ). Hopefully one of these should help us.

The OP is a Herts resident so perhaps you mean non-catchment area applicant. DG
