Breaking News CEM VR Same paper as DAO results can be shared

You need to register for both and sit SW Herts on 5th September for the Maths paper and CEM VR and DAO on 1st September to get English and Maths.

You can sign up for both today and then you need to contact SW Herts and ask them to share your CEM VR result with DAO and contact DAO and let them know you will be sitting at SW Herts on 5th September. DG

I am confused so you have to do maths exam twice.

Only the VR paper is the same, SW Herts has a Maths paper as well and DAO has an English and a Maths paper. DAO has two days of exams. SW Herts does their two papers on the same day therefore you will need to do the VR at SW Herts if you want them to share results. DG

Hi daogroupie the new CEM VR for SW CONSORTIUM how many questions and how long do they allow them to answer it.

The total amount of actual timed content is 45 minutes. This will be "several short timed papers" CEM never reveal how many questions but there will be too many questions and not enough time. You are not expected to finish. To secure a place at your desired school you "simply" have to do better than most of the other applicants in answering as many questions as you can and getting more right! DG

DG- Is this same for HBS too- 45 mins for as many timed questions in VR and NR? Will there be two different papers- one in VR and the other in NR or both of them will be one paper? Many thanks

There is no NR in the DAO paper

so if you register to sit the DAO paper on the 1st you can have a second go at west herts the following week? surely this cant be right.

No. DAO has two days of exams. English and Maths on Tuesday 1st September and VR on Saturday 5th September same day as SW Herts.

So students who want to apply for both schools will need to sit the DAO English and Maths papers on the Tuesday and the SW Herts Maths and VR on Saturday 5th September and get SW Herts to send DAO their VR results.

Nobody can sit the same CEM paper twice. The ones that are the same are all on the same day. There are ten plus schools all offering the same CEM test on Saturday 12th September, CEM Super Saturday. We have our own Herts mini version on Saturday 5th September. DG
