If Watford Grammar schools cannot accommodate all x-sibling (criterion 5) applications then do they consider a place under academic test?
Considering WGBS Sep 2015 entry data, it appears that all x-siblings are not given a place due to high demand of other community places.

I'm 99% sure that the 35% of specialist places (25% academic, 10% music) are safe from this, the number of cross-siblings not getting in will depend upon how many of the other community places are filled before taking them into account.

From the Watford Boys admissions arrangements, "Applicants who are entitled to be offered a place under more than one of criteria 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 will be offered a place under the lowest numbered of those criteria."

Likewise, if the applicant does *not* get a place under criterion 5 then they will be considered for criterion 7 & 8.
