Can anyone explain to me how it all works, we live in Dartford and as we are on the Kent, Bexley border we can do both 11+ and Kent test. Is this true? and if so what is the format or differences between these two exams? There are 3 excellent Grammars for girls nearby both in the Dartford and Bexley areas so getting through both would be ideal but just wanted to get facts right. Thanks to all and value your comments.

Yes it's true. As I'm sure you know, the Kent test is NVR, VR, Maths and a written piece. The Bexley test is now just Maths and VR (until two years ago we also had papers in English and NVR).

There is lots of information on Bexley Council's schools admissions website. I think it all still relates to admissions in 2009 but this will give you an idea of the process for out of county applicants.
