Why does kent CC make us jump through hoops to get score?

Post by bromley mum »

We are out of KCC and can't get scores to the test as DD's school is on half term for 2 weeks. KCC wants us to e mail asking for scores and they will then e mail back. Why could they not have included the scores in the original e mail?

I think its mad too,
I emailed and got an email back saying
"Test scores can be obtained from your primary headteacher."

That was it!
Our H?T is on a course all week. Then into half term!
Why not send the info out in the letter they sent?

Jenhug - did your HT not make arrangements for someone else to give out the scores in their absence? I got my ds's scores from the deputy as HT was out all day.

Nope, that would be far too sensible for our school!

Our DS's school had Parent/Teacher conferences the week that the results came out at which they gave us the marks, which seemed an eminently sensible, although why they can't just put them in the letter I don't know
"We've got a date with Destiny and it looks like she's ordered the lobster."
