Travel to Rochester Girls from Sittingbourne by Train

Wondered if anyone have experience or travel advice on journey between Sittingbourne or close to Rochester Girls Grammar. What is the nearest station to the school and the distance between the station and school.

I could call up the school but Easter break not permitting at the moment.

Rochester is the nearest station & it is quite a walk 30/40 mins ? I reckon. there are buses but i'm not sure how well they would tie in?

Depends if you are only looking at RGS as Fort Pitt is much nearer to train stations (both Chatham & Rochester)

Thanks for your reply. I am considering RGS for Sixth Form at the moment. Didnt realise that Rochester St was the closest. For some reason www.11-19travel.info/jplanner.htm seems to put Chatham station as the closest.

I'll have a look at the buses and see what connections would be best from Rochester St.

Annoying but Sittingbourne just seems so far away from anywhere else!!!
