MGS Literacy Assessment
Hi All,
Just out of interest, does anyone have any idea as to what the MGS literacy assessment entails. I'm honestly not trying to give DS a heads up,as there's no point, just interested to know.( it will give my paranoia something to do after so much time off!)

Nothing more than it says on the tin really My son did it last year, they simply use the test to get a "real" feel for the childs ability, rather than the "coached within an inch of his life" results from the 11+
They use the results to decide whether the child has potential to do Latin and also what class form they go into. I really wouldn't worry about it, your lad has done all the hard work and has made it into the school he wants. Now is definately a time to enjoy

Thanks dadoftwo, not worried really, just curious. I always like to know as much about any situation as I can while DS is far more laid back. As you say, he's already got the place and is really looking forward to September.
